hey friends, it´s been a long time and i have great news for you:

the debut album of my friend J.E.L.L.i. “JUMP INTO THE FUZZ”  is now available on iTunes !

i had the chance to pre listen and i was really impressed and also surprised. i knew some demos and they developed to beautiful, this album is great and you need to check it out on iTunes RIGHT NOW!!! it´s rockmusic at it´s finest.

i´m listening to it over and over again and there is no bad or boring song on it.

the album starts rocking with “almost cought” and goes to melancholic “unbeautiful” . and “jenn”…if you know the demoversion from you tube, this is just unbelieveable. the guitar solo will rock your socks off…

the start of “eating a cookie” makes me laugh…oh the end of the song will make you want to hug this guy.

“rive” is beautiful arranged, powerful, melloncollie and lovely and “raining again” with these hopelessly romantic lyrics is just beautiful…do i repeat myself? BEAUTIFUL!!!

“white lines” was my favorite of the demos from 2008 (is it so long ago already?) and the “real” version is 100% better. such a power song!

when i heard “shadow factory” i almost fell from my couch, this guy can scream! yes, sing like a bird and scream like hell…fuck yeah…one of my favorite songs of this album. ROCK!

the intro of “autolife” is a dream, it´s like beeing at hawaii in the sun,sipping a drink, getting a massage…and you gotta listen to the lyrics, they are so good!

“starlight” is a sweet ballad about love, of course. very beautiful.

the last song on the album is “new ground” and that is another one that´ll get your butt off the seat. there is a really mindmelting guitar explosion at the end.

i´m afraid i sound like a 14 year old fan-girl, but i love every fucking tune of “JUMP INTO THE FUZZ” and i highly recommend you buy it!

A black tar is in labor.
It pushes her out
of an unintended hidden heart.
She isn’t ready.
She doesn’t disembark
like a sun-bound flesh shuttle.
She swims upstream,
back toward the cervix,
stripped of gills,
soft belly bloody, still docked,
still connected to the uterus.
Nobody asks how beautiful she is.
The nurses in particular hate
rhetorical questions.
She won’t be particularly interested
in the 16th century,
but the hospital staff use leeches anyway.
No doctor is able to understand
the value of her tiny rivers,
or the way her eyes and lips curve
opposite but say the same thing.
No surgeon can read
the life line of her open veins,
despite the efforts
of her modesty.

my dear artist/writer/soulsister Julie M. Tate (authoress @ Gossip [&] The Devil) and i had a little chat on fb. we discussed about words and the meaning of words. she said that i do meraki (greek: doing something with soul, creativity, or love — when you put “something of yourself” into what you’re doing, whatever it may be)  and because of that i had the idea to paint something. and so i started painting, just out of the blue…or black.

the name of the painting is MERAKI. i posted it on facebookand when Julie saw it, she did her own way of meraki and bled this poem to the paper.

i love it when magic happens

“magnus und jan-hagen/die wohngemeinschaft-der social media comic” (ja, der titel ist zu lang, es ist ein arbeitstitel) ist ein neues comic projekt von @cherubimu und mir. ich habe die personen/tiere in den comic gezeichnet, @cherubimu hat die geschichte erfunden und die hintergründe/sets für meine zeichnungen erstellt.
dieses neue projekt möchte ich euch hier vorstellen und gleichzeitig um spenden bitten. leider ist unser computer bei der arbeit “gestorben”.

Deine Lakaien – Acoustic II {Review}

Ich habe das unglaubliche Glück gehabt, das Acoustic II Album von Deine Lakaien mir über Pledge käuflich erwerben zu können. Ich habe eine gewisse Affinität für Musik, die in verschiedenster Art einzigartig ist. Die Musik von Deine Lakaien gehört zweifelsohne dazu. Es ist vollkommen egal in welcher Form und in welcher instrumentalen Besetzung die Werke von Deine Lakaien angefasst und auf die Bühne gebracht werden, ich mag sie. Jedoch bin ich besonders entzückt von der Variante, die auf das Minimalste reduziert ist, dem präparierten Flügel von Ernst Horn und dem unumstößlich charismatischen raumfüllenden Gesang von Alexander Veljanov.
Ich mag es besonders dann, wenn Herr Horn mit vollkommener Hingabe auf den Flügel drauf hackt und die Tasten nicht nur als Melodiegeber benutzt sind (wie zumeist bei den balladesken Liedern), sondern wenn der Flügel zum Schlagzeug mutiert, wenn der Gesang von Veljanov durch den Takt getrieben wird und sich die Lieder immer mehr zu einem Höhepunkt voller Dramatik hinaufschaukeln. Das macht mich verdammt noch mal glücklich. Abgesehen davon bin ich schon immer ein großer Freund von Baritonstimmen gewesen.
Acoustic II vereint alles, was ich an einzigartiger moderner bewegender Musik mag. Die Musik von Deine Lakaien ist live nicht berechenbar. Ernst Horn schafft es, bei jedem Auftritt immer neuere Facetten zu schon längst alten Gassenhauern hinzuzuzaubern. Die Musik ist nicht langweilig und scheint niemals nen Bart zu bekommen. 
Mir ist es vollends bewusst, dass ich nichts Objektives zu diesem Album sagen kann.

Ich kann noch nicht mal eine Kaufempfehlung zu dem Werk aussprechen, denn dieses Album war eine Aktion, die über Pledge lief. Das heißt, man hat vorher bezahlt und hat als Dankeschön das Album bekommen.Ich habe in meinem Falle zwei Mal 25 Euro hingeblättert, um zwei Mal die physische Ausgabe der CD zu erhalten mit persönlicher Widmung. Die eine CD bekommt meine Mama und die andere ist für mich gewesen. Ich habe gern 50 Euro hingeblättert für innovative kreative Künstler, die mich stets glücklich machen können mit deren Schaffen, mit deren Livequalitäten und den stets nicht ermüdend machenden Neuinterpretationen ihrer Songs, die im Original zumeist mit elektronischen Spezialitäten daher kommen. Bei diesem Duo merkt man und weiß man, dass es echte Musiker sind. Dafür gebe ich bei Bedarf auch mein letztes Hemd her.

Meine Lieblingsstücke des 16 Stücke umfassenden Livealbums sind definitiv: „Fighting the Green“ „Heart made to be mine“ und für die etwas ruhigeren Momente „Without your words“

Das Album ist Mitte Juni 2013 erschienen und bis dato war ich noch nicht fähig die richtigen Worte dazu zu finden. Mir fällt es auch nach dem mindestens 40. Mal durchhören schwer. Es ist einfach nur viel zu schön um wahr zu sein.

The Smashing Pumpkins @ Postepay Rock In Roma – 14 July 2013

[nat: der reader, please welcome our new author @isabella_isza !!! thank you girl, for your awesome first blogpost for out collaborative art blog! ]I started listening to Smashing Pumpkins, a little late, in 2000 thanks to the video of The Everlasting Gaze and I went only to two live concerts, both in Italy. I think that with this second concert of 14 July 2013 in Rome, my city, I had the best experience of my whole life and that I will never forget. I got a complete Pumpkins thing, I started meeting Jeff Schroeder, then “the man itself” Billy Corgan to finish with an awesome and neverending concert! To go a little inside, I met Jeff thanks to a fluke; me and my friend Francesca were walking around the city all day long looking at band’s tweets and when we were a little discouraged he showed up from nowhere. We literally jumped screaming Jeff, Jeff, Jeff and he was frightened by us, but when he saw my Oceania shirt he made a smile and we took 2 pictures, he was really kind but very shy! I still can’t believe that we got to meet Billy, we found him early in the morning about to go sightseeing, I suppose! So we had the chance to talk with him a little, to grab some autographs and again 2 photos, he came out to be very funny, joking with us and being so so kind! We said goodby to him with a nice hug! The day after started the long waiting to gain first row at the concert, the waiting lasted about almost 6 hours under the sun to finish with me on stands and my friends on first row! The concert was opened by the american band Beware of Darkness, soon followed by the awesome Mark Lanegan, dressed in a complete black outfit, that started with “The Gravedigger’s Song” off to “Blues Funeral” then “Sleep With Me”, “Hit the City”, “Gray Goes Black”, “One Way Street”, “Black Rose Way” (Screaming Trees song), “Devil in my Mind” (Smoke Fairies cover), “Creeping Coastline of Lights” (Leaving Trains cover), “Phantasmagoria Blues”, “Harborview Hospital”, “Methamphetamine Blues”. The sun started going down, just the time to prepare the stage, two seconds of rain, then the Pumpkins arrived on stage! The crowd was warm and the band was in an good mood ready to rock everyone out! The setlist with 25 songs is one of the most longer of this tour, they played songs from almost all their discography (Oceania (6), Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness (5), Siamese Dream (4), Gish (3), Zeitgeist (2), Adore (1), MACHINA/the machines of God (1), The Aeroplane Flies High (1) ):

The concert lasted 2 hours and a half, of complete awesomeness, during wich Billy talked with the crowd and joked about typical italians gestures and behaviours and the Roman crowd sang loud! I was so happy that I didn’t search for some official merchandising to buy, the experience was complete that way! So in 3 days I made some new friends, listened to a lot of good music and met my musical hero, I could not ask for more! oh and I also lost two kilos 🙂 I am so grateful, thank you Billy and thank you guys! Oma und Opa haben auf Facebook von dem Merkelschen Neuland gelesen,

und sind vor lauter Lachen fast vom Sofa gefallen.

Um es nochmal klar zu stellen:

Wikipedia ist nicht die Haupstadt von Neuland,

denn Neuland gibt es nicht wirklich, Neuland ist überall, es umgibt uns, durchdringt uns.

Neuland ist gefährlich, immer wieder werden von gefährlichen Trollen Webseiten gesprengt,

sogenannte Shitstorms zerstören regelmäßig die Ernten von tausenden Farmville Bauern

doch wir schauen weg.

Jugendliche die sich  sogenannte Hashtags reinziehen um MEME zu machen,

treffen sich regelmäßig konspirativ auf  verwinkelten  TimeLines, doch wir schauen weg.

Stattdessen exportiert die deutsche Industrie IMMER NOCH weiterhin Tonnen von AdBlockern in das Krisengebiet.

i read at facebook that the turkish authorities took davides piano for hostage. he doesn´t know when or if  and then how expensive it´ll be, to get it back.
